USAwines.com, a Washington corporation, is designed to promote the wine regions and wineries of America over the Internet. It continues to be a work-in-progress with more information and features constantly being added. Wines ordered can be shipped to most states. In January 2006 we turned our attention once again to rebuilding and updating the website. We recoded, redesigned and streamlined the website and shopping cart system. We hope you like it.

History: Judith Bergfors and her son started this website way back in 1996, when the Internet was brand new. We began with the wineries in our home area, Monterey County, California, and the site has evolved over the years to include wineries from other states. We wrestled with shipping restrictions, programming codes, frogs, locusts and other pestilences over the years...yet we survived. In 1998 Eric Colby and Judith Bergfors Colby moved from Carmel, California, to Fidalgo Island in northwest Washington state. On November 30, 2000, our Chairman of the Board, Eric Charles Colby, died suddenly. Eric touched a lot of lives with his love and laughter. He was a wonderful husband and father; we all miss him terribly, and we'll never forget the love he shared with us.
